STUDY ABROAD
Global education creates global professionals. Study abroad with the Morris Graduate School of Management gives students international contexts for experiential learning.
Graduate international education centers on independent study. Students complete projects aligned with their academic plans. They explore themes like diversity and leadership from a multinational perspective. While abroad, students research differences in business culture and social context affecting managerial decision-making. Back on campus, they present their findings to faculty and peers.
Combining technologies and media, and with support from RMU technicians, students have the opportunity to create Web-based presentations of their work, documenting what they discover abroad. Projects also serve as virtual portfolios that can be shown to prospective employers. In this way, students create a positive Web presence highlighting their international experience.
Study abroad integrates with MGSM students' degree programs and supports their career plans.
The experience hones students' skills in . . .
- cross-cultural communication,
- comparative analysis, and
- problem-solving.
It challenges them to be . . .
- self-reliant,
- open-minded, and
- flexible.
Global education expands students' worldview. Since employers value such qualifications, faculty leaders work with students to translate international learning into résumé bullet points and interview talking points.
We invite you to "internationalize" your graduate education-and your resume-with us.
